There is this myth in some parts of the world (mostly south Asia and middle east ) that once a snake turns 100 they can transform into a human. I wonder where this myth started from. If this could be true, could snakes turn into other humans or just.. turn into a whole new human themselves? I wonder if more people have heard about this.

  • Don't know what you truly are interested in... But in the Mahabharata for example we have the nagas, who contrary to popular believes are described as humans, and can turn into what they want. Takshaka, the naga king, shifts into a worm as an example. – Gibet Oct 17 '18 at 13:19
