The older Avestan name for Aban, or "waters" is āpas, so it made me curious if the Zoroastrian festival of Abanagan, which I believe is Middle Persian, has an older name to reflect this. Or if any other such holiday has an older name. My research online has not yielded any such names. There may be no such equivalent, but am curious if anyone knows of such a possibility.
